BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (March 7, 2017) – Two cars were involved in an accident on Tuesday afternoon on Gage Street and Bernard Street, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 2:15 pm at the intersection of Gage Street and Bernard Street. A green Mazda and a red Toyota sedan were involved in a collision for an unknown reason, and the impact was enough to cause both vehicles to begin leaking gasoline.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident, and the condition of those involved is unknown. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability.
