BAKERSFIELD: Semi Truck Involved in Crash on Highway 99 near Highway 58

BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (January 23, 2017) – A car allegedly crashed into the back of a semi-truck on Highway 99 near Highway 58, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 4:00 pm on the southbound side of Highway 99, near Highway 58. A white sedan allegedly rear ended a semi-truck before spinning out.

The driver of the sedan reportedly may have been driving under the influence. The accident remains under investigation, and while an ambulance responded to the scene, it is unknown if anyone sustained injuries.
