“Pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries”
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (January 7, 2017) – According to the Bakersfield Police Department, an elderly male pedestrian was struck by a car on Saturday at the intersection of 24th Street and N Street. (map)
The BPD reported that a silver sedan was traveling westbound on 24th street when it crashed into the pedestrian man around 7:00 p.m. The man was walking westbound on 24th street when he was struck by the car.
The BPD states that the man was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries while the driver of the car was uninjured.
