
Tragic Pedestrian Accident Under Investigation
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (December 8, 2016) – A pedestrian died Thursday night after he was hit by two vehicles on North Half Moon Drive and Ashe Road, reported Bakersfield Now. (map)
A preliminary investigation revealed the 20-year old male victim was crossing the street when a northbound vehicle crashed into him.
The pedestrian was then struck a second time by another vehicle that was traveling behind the first one.
Both drivers stopped at the scene and attempted to help the pedestrian.
The coroner’s office will release the identity of the victim.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
