The accident happened on Wednesday morning in the southbound lanes of Highway 43 near Panama Lane. A head on collision between unidentified cars occurred, causing the lanes to become blocked.

At least one person was injured in the accident, however the person injured reportedly refused medical treatment at the scene. Quite a few people stopped to check on those affected, and the investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
