BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (January 29, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Sunday near the intersection of White Lane and Lily Drive, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 3:00 pm on Sunday at the intersection of White Lane and Lily Drive. A Toyota Tacoma made a left turn from the eastbound lanes of White Lane onto Lily Drive, and was subsequently t-boned by a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to a local hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries a short time later. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
