William Walker Sinclair, 71, Died in Freeway Collision on Westside Parkway near Coffee Road

“Rollover Collision”

BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (August 11, 2017) – 71-year-old William Walker Sinclair was involved in a rollover crash west of Coffee Road Thursday morning, according to the Bakersfield Police Department. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. when Sinclair, traveling eastbound on Westside Parkway driving a pickup, collided into the guardrail and a Coffee Road freeway sign, according to police officials.

Sinclair died as a result of the crash. It doesn’t appear that Sinclair was driver more that 5 mph over the speed limit, according to Sgt. Don Cegielski.

Westside Parkway between Coffee road and Calloway Driver was closed for investigation.

No other details of the collision were available.
