BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (June 6, 2017) – A semi truck and a Honda were involved in a collision on Tuesday on Norris Road, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident happened around 9:52 am at the intersection of Norris Road and Airport Drive. A semi truck and a Honda were involved in a collision for an unknown reason, and the sedan was reportedly wedged underneath part of the semi truck, trapping two occupants inside.
Paramedics and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, and reportedly at least one person suffered major injuries. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
