BABYLON, NEW YORK (June 26, 2017) – Robert Fischer was injured in an accident outside his West Babylon home on Sunday, according to a new source. (map)
The accident happened around noon, when 72 year old Robert Fischer was operating a wood chipper outside his home on 15th Street. For an unknown reason, his right leg got caught in the machine, and was pulled in partially. Robert Fischer’s son, Richard, was able to free his father from the machine.
Robert Fischer was rushed to the hospital with a partially amputated leg immediately after the incident. The wood chipper was impounded, and OSHA has been notified. The investigation into the incident is ongoing at this time.
“We wish Robert Fischer a swift and steady recovery after this traumatic accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Robert and his family and friends during this difficult time.”
