BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (February 24, 2017) – Avery Dion Molle has been identified as the man killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday afternoon on Highway 99, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 1:40 p.m. on Friday on the southbound side of Highway 99 near Olive Drive. A man, identified as 43-year-old Avery Dion Molle, was struck by a southbound white Dodge pickup truck on Highway 99. Initial reports indicate other vehicles may also have been involved.

Responding emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, but tragically Avery Molle was pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The accident remains under open investigation at this time.
