AUBURN, CALIFORNIA (April 18, 2017) – A two car accident on Grass Valley Highway on Tuesday left at least one person injured, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)

The accident happened around 12:56 pm on Grass Valley Highway (Also known as Highway 49) near Nevada Street. A gold car and a truck were involved in a collision for an unknown reason. One of the vehicles overturned several times from the impact and landed upright on its wheels.

At least one person sustained injuries and paramedics rushed to the scene. The accident remains under open investigaion to determine cause and liability at this time.
