AUBURN, CALIFORNIA (December 15, 2016) – According to the California Highway Patrol, two 18-year-old students, Jude Douden and Joseph Rantz were killed on Thursday in a head-on collision on Highway 49 and Joeger Road. (map)
CHP spokesman Officer Dave Martinez reported that the students were traveling southbound on Highway 49 in a 1999 white BMW when their vehicle crossed onto the northbound lanes and collided with another car.
