AZUSA, CALIFORNIA (March 3, 2017) – A bicyclist and a bus were involved in a collision on Friday evening on Azusa Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:00 pm in the 300 block of South Azusa Avenue near the 210 Freeway. A Foothill Transit bus and a bicyclist were involved in a collision for an unknown reason, resulting in major injuries to the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was airlifted to a nearby hospital, and was identified only as a 33 year old man from Whittier. His condition was last reported as critical. The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability.
