“Semi vs. SUV Collision”
ARVIN, CALIFORNIA (June 12, 2017) – One person died in a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon near South Edison and Herring Roads, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 2:40 p.m. when a gray Chevrolet Tahoe and a semi truck collided near the intersection of South Edison Road and Herring Road. Rescue and emergency crews were called to scene.
At least one person was reported dead at the scene. The details of the accident were not immediately available. The intersection was closed as CHP conducted their investigation. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
