ARVIN: Kyle Woodrow Bozarth Killed in Accident on Highway 58 near Towerline Road

ARVIN, CALIFORNIA (January 5, 2017) –A 42 year old man from Bakersfield was killed in a horrific accident on Highway 58 on Thursday, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)

The accident happened on Highway 58 near Towerline Road. Kyle Woodrow Bozarth, a 42 year old man, was driving a Mazda MPV with three passengers inside on Highway 58. Ahead of him, traffic came to a standstill due to several chain reaction accidents, including one involving a big rig. Due to rain and fog, Kyle Bozarth was unable to stop in time and crashed into the back of the big rig.

Kyle Woodrow Bozarth was tragically killed in the collision. Two of the three passengers inside Bozarth’s vehicle were juveniles, one of whom was seriously injured in the accident. The condition of the other two passengers is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
