CHP Officer John Tyler reported that the multi-vehicle crash involved at least 40 vehicles consisting of small passenger cars to semi-trucks. There were no reported fatalities.
Officer Tyler stated that drivers were traveling too fast in the fog. 12 people were transported to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.
