“Scooter vs. Vehicle Collision”
APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (April 2, 2017) – A scooter was involved in a crash with another vehicle early Sunday morning on Highway 18 near Lions Park, according to police authorities. (map)
The accident occurred approximately after 12:00 a.m. The male rider of a scooter was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound. Apple Valley Police and Fire Protection District responded to the scene to aid the victims involved in the collision.
The male rider of the scooter was was transported to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and was then airlifted to a local trauma center. The identity and injuries of the rider were not released. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police officials.
