“Multi Car Accident”
ANTIOCH, CALIFORNIA (April 1, 2017) – Fourteen people were reportedly injured in a multi car accident on Saturday evening on Highway 4, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:15 on the westbound side of Highway 4 near the Lone Tree Way/A Street On-Ramp. A Toyota minivan with three passengers rear ended a Toyota sedan carrying several people as well. Two other vehicles may have also been involved.
Multiple people were reportedly injured, and four were in critical condition. Two of the critically injured were airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center, and a 14 year old girl was taken to Children’s hospital in Oakland. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
