ANDERSON, CALIFORNIA (April 28, 2017) – Two trucks were involved in a head-on collision early Friday morning, at the intersection of Deschutes and Dersch Roads, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 3:22 a.m. A Ford Super Duty pickup truck and a Ford Ranger were involved in the crash. The impact of the crash caused the Ford Ranger to travel off the roadway and down an embankment. The Ford Super Duty truck sustained major front end damage. A victim of the crash sustained injuries from the collision. However, the severity of the injuries are unknown at this time.
Emergency crews were called to the scene to treat the victims of the collision. The details of the accident were not available. The identities of the parties involved in the collision were were not released. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
