ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA (May 26, 2017) – Two cars were involved in a collision on the 5 Freeway near Gene Autry Way on Friday, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 8:55 am on the northbound side of the 5 Freeway near Gene Autry Way. A Honda Accord and a sedan were involved in a collision for an unknown reason, and one of the vehicles may also have struck the side wall.
At least one person sustained injuries, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the collision. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
