AMARILLO, TEXAS (April 29, 2017) –Misty Nicholson, a flight nurse with Rico Aviation, was tragically identified as one of the three victims killed in a plane accident on Saturday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:30 am at the Amarillo Airport. A small Pilatus PC-12 designated as an air ambulance and carrying three people crashed shortly after takeoff for an unknown reason.
Misty Nicholson was tragically killed in the crash, as was her fellow flight nurse Scott Riola and Pilot Robin Shaw. The accident remains under investigation by the FAA and the NTSB at this time to determine what caused the plane to crash.
