Alden North, 28, Killed in Vehicle Collision on East Hatch and Stonum Roads

“Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Fatality”

CERES, CALIFORNIA (July 17, 2017) – 28-year-old Alden North was involved in a vehicle collision on East Hatch and Stonum Roads Monday evening, according to the Ceres Police Department. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. A van traveling southbound on Stonum Road stopped at the stop sign. The driver of the van attempted to make a left turn onto East Hatch cutting off the motorcycle North was riding traveling west, according to Ceres Police Dept. Sgt. Jose Berber.

Police officers were dispatched to the scene to find North lying on the ground with major injuries. North was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of he van sustained no injuries. East hatch Road was closed as due to the investigation.
