FALLBROOK, CALIFORNIA(April 23, 2018) – An Escondido man, identified as 20-year-old Adrian Rangel, was injured in a single-car crash early Sunday morning.
At 12:17 a.m., Adrian Rangel was driving a Honda Civic east on De Lez Road and approaching the intersection on Sandia Creek Drive. The area was located in a hill, wooded area of a winding road just north of downtown Fallbrook. Initial reports indicate that Rangel’s Civic drifted to the left and veer first into oncoming lanes, then off the roadway and into a tree.
Rangel was a student studying at Palomar College. He had dreams of becoming a mechanic. In his free time, Rangel enjoyed riding quads and catching the wind with his friends in the desert.
It is unclear at the time why Rangel drifted to the left and into the oncoming lanes. Officials are still releasing more information at the time and Lexton Law will continue to update this article as more information is released.
