SKAGWAY, ALASKA (August 9, 2017) – 25 people were injured after a tour bus went off the road in Skagway on Wednesday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 11:00 am at the Alaska Excursions Dog Camp in Skagway. A Unimog touring bus went off the road for an unknown reason.
25 of the 28 on board the bus were transported to a local hospital, where 22 were treated and released and three were medevaced to another hospital. Injuries reportedly ranged from broken bones and head injuries, to bumps and bruises. The accident remains under investigation.
