LAKE CAMANCHE, CALIFORNIA (May 29, 2017) – 18 year old Emily Uyeno was killed in a tragic jetski accident on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened at Lake Camanche on Monday. 18 year old Emily Uyeno was riding a jet ski when she was involved in a collision with a friends watercraft, sending Emily into the water. She was fished out by a deputy almost immediately afterwards.

Despite extensive resuscitation efforts, Emily was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
